Encode™/CAM StructSURE™

For now we can only make a coping and temp. The coping will have to be picked up in the mouth after inserting the abutment. CAM StructSURE™ The same technology that 3I uses for milled abutments is also applied to milled titanium frames.

Pure titanium milled clip bars and fixed removable processed denture tooth bridges can be made using the CAM StructSURE system. These are precision-fitting frames milled out of a solid piece of titanium that drop right into the mouth. No casting or solder connections are required.

Encode™ 3I has taken the Cad/CAM systems to a new level. Using CAM technology, a final milled titanium abutment can be made without the need for an implant impression. Healing abutments encoded with a specific marking that only the CAM software can read are placed in the implant at the time of surgery. An impression of that healing abutment is taken with any impression material. Neither cord nor a fixture impression coping is required.

A counter and bite is taken and sent to the lab. The lab pours the impression and pindexes the models and mounts them in the usual manner. The pindexed die of the Encode healing abutment is scanned and a final abutment is made from it.

At the present time, the milling machine cannot activate an analog into the model; this feature is being worked on right now. In the future we will be able to make the final crown at the same time as the abutment.
