InCeram Preparations With a 98% success rate over ten
years the InCeram system has proven
itself one of the strongest and yet
esthetic all porcelain system on the
market today. An InCeram crown is
made of extremely dense-sintered
aluminum oxide. The flexural strength
was measured to be 350-700 Mpa
range while maintaining the highest
degree of translucency. The strength
in the core material is such that InCeram
core can be used for prosthetic
reconstruction anywhere in the mouth.
InCeram can be used to construct
multi-unit bridges anywhere in the mouth.
There are three variations to the system.
InCeram Spinell, InCeram Alumina and
now InCeram Zirconia. InCeram Spinell is
ideal for Inlays and Onlays, veneers and
single anteriors.
InCeram Alumina is ideal for single
anteriors, posteriors and anterior bridges.
The new InCeram Zirconia is ideal for
single posteriors and posterior bridges.
No other all porcelain system can make
this claim.
If used with the Alpha Porcelain in conjunction
with the 3D shade guide the superstructure
can achieve truly three dimensional color
and high translucency.
Furthermore the new InCeram Sprint rapid-firing
technique can reduce the turnaround time by up
to 50% without sacrificing the strength and
reliability expected with InCeram.
